The ferry departs from Kiel at 14.00 hrs and arrives in Oslo the next morning at 10.00 hrs. The return journey follows the exact same schedule. You need to check in 2 hours before departure. From Oslo, it is a 2-3 hour drive to the ski resorts, along well-maintained roads.
