Opening hours and additional activities
The lifts are generally open from the beginning of the season until mid-January from 09.30 to 15.30 hrs and after that, until 16.00 hrs. Night skiing is also possible.

Middle Station

The west side
This area is known for its sunny location and direct access to the beautiful nature. Here, you'll find ski rentals, a children's and family area and the popular restaurants Tyrihanstunet and Gondolen Fjellbistro.
At 700 metres above sea level and between two of the three mountain slopes, you'll find Kvitfjell's exclusive Yttersvingen apartments. All feature beautiful interiors and well-equipped kitchens. There is a supermarket, a parking garage with charging stations for electric cars and ski lockers. The slopes, ski lift, children's area and cross-country ski trails are right outside your door. Take the Vestsiden Express to the top or the gondola to Varden. The ideal base for families, friends and groups!
Varden
Varden, the newest part of Kvitfjell, offers green and blue slopes for the whole family. The large gondola takes you to The West Side and the chairlift brings you to the top. Varden is popular for its beautiful cabins, all close to the slopes and the cross-country ski trails.
Accessibility
Kvitfjell is located a 45-minute drive from the charming city of Lillehammer and is easily accessible. You can choose to travel by ferry from Kiel to Oslo. From Oslo, it's about a 3-hour drive. We can arrange this beautiful ferry crossing for you, with discount!
