Near Geilo Centre, you will find 21 ski lifts and 45 ski slopes. You can ski on both sides of the valley, in Vestlia and on the Geilo Centre (Slaatta, Havsdalen, Geiloheisen and Halsteinsgård) side. The free ski bus runs all day between the two sides and is also picking up guests at their accommodation in the morning.

Vestlia is great for beginners and families, you will also find childcare here. In Vestlia, you will find the beautiful Vestlia Resort and the popular Geilolia Hyttetun cabins. On the other side, you will find the Bardøla hotel and cabins and the Highland Lodge.

Geilo offers more than 500 km of groomed cross-country trails, both in the valleys as on the mountain plateaus. The trails are free to use and there is a wide range for everyone, from short and flat to challenging trails along the beautiful mountain peaks.

Geilo is easy to get to. You may wish to take the ferry from Kiel (Northern Germany) to Oslo. It will take about 3 hours to drive from Oslo to Geilo, the roads are good. We can book this ferry-crossing with an attractive discount for you. You can also fly to Oslo Gardermoen. From the airport, buses and trains go to Geilo.

The ski season lasts from mid-November to late April.
