Trysil is the largest ski resort in Norway! With its 66 pistes guaranteed of snow, Trysil is the perfect winter sport vacation destination for fantastic skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. If you think that 21 green, 17 blue, 17 red and 11 black pistes fail to present enough of a challenge, then why not try Trysil’s “Parks” with jumps, rails and boxes for beginners and advanced skiers. Aside from skiing, Trysil offers a large number of winter activities from November to May. The most popular being the Husky Safari – an unforgettable experience! Trysil is therefor a highly recommended destination for a visit with your children.
We can offer almost all of the accommodations in Trysil, but we would advise you to stay at the Turistsenter or in the Høyfjellssenter. These accommodations are within walking distance of the lifts, pistes, ski schools, shops, bars and restaurants.
Turistsenter is situated on the southern side of the mountain. It is one of the more popular resorts with more bars, restaurants and shops and the more challenging pistes. Høyfjellssenter lies on the northern side, and is a quieter resort with more nursery slopes. You can actually ski from one village to the next.
